VIII. Hungarian Paprika Day was held at KITE’s horticultural site, Derecske in the beginning of September. High standard presentations were held and key players of horticulture business were present as exhibitors.
At our stand people were most interested in our new tomato shaped variety, the CMV and Xv resistant ZKI 09032 F1. At the event we received important feedbacks from the apple pepper growers of the region, whom we presented ZKI’s spicy apple pepper varieties, Ispán F1 and Regös F1, and the sweet apple pepper Békés F1.
Our new white conic type pepper hybrids with TSWV and Tm2 resistance were on display for the first time, and growers could see also the new big size kapia type hybrid, ZKI 09721 F1.
The program ended with presentation of the modern gardening site at Derecske.
